Manufacturing Process

Chikan garments can take up to 60 to 90 days as they are made entirely by hand. We follow five main processes namely cutting, stitching, printing, embroidery, washing, and finishing to develop our range.

Cutting: It is carried out in the lots and the layouts are done to minimize the wastage of materials.
Stitching: We use advanced machines for stitching garments.
Printing: We use wooden blocks dipped in dyes like neel and safeda for printing beautiful designs.
Embroidery: Now the fabric is embroidered by craftsmen and each piece is completed by one artisan as the handiwork of each differs.
Washing and Finishing: This is the last process and it includes bleaching, acid treatment, stiffening, and ironing. After all this, the garment is ready for packaging.
